Our Ministry
In 1986 Janna Hancock created a non-denominational organization, “Christian Mission Ministries”. At the time of its conception this ministry primarily focused on meeting the needs of the incarcerated. Providing bibles teaching workshops, and presenting Christian music and drama programs in the prisons. Our ministry has been in some of the most violent prison systems in the Nation. It is now twenty years later and CMM has
grown from one prison outreach to six community faith based outreaches;
Street outreach, Strong Tower (substance abuse program) outreach, Wellness outreach, Youth, music outreach and our original prison outreach.
All of the outreaches provide services in the community and in the prisons. We are a non-profit organization staffed with qualified caring individuals with a heart for the lost and hurting. Our ministry believes that every man, woman, and child has great worth, something of value to offer society. This ministry addresses some of the many issues that effect our communities, our family, and the future of both. We are here to serve. Our Director

Janna Hancock is the Director and founding member of CMM. She has a Nursing Degree from Pratt Nursing School, Pratt Ks., a Bachelors degree in Social Science, with emphases in counseling, from Friends University, Wichita Ks. and  a degree  from International school of Ministry. Janna was ordained as CMM Senior pastor in January 2008. With five Christian albums  and her recently released book titled “Hope”, she travels throughout the United States sharing the Good news of Jesus Christ. Janna is married with three grown children and four grandchildren.
